FIELD HORSE
While training to become a professional rider, my horse Tiny sustained a life-threatening injury and my perplexing battle with an undiagnosed mental illness became debilitating. With both of our lives on the line, I sought strength from our bond to uncover the worth we possessed beyond our failed show-jumping careers—realizing that freedom was much different than I'd imagined. My memoir, FIELD HORSE, is the story of how Tiny and I, facing different but equally devastating challenges, saved each other.
